FundFotos

We have heard many exciting things about our new FundFotos program through Carolina Photography. The program will enable you as the parent to log on to a secure EES website and view and purchase pictures of your child at school. As a working parent, I miss a lot of activities my girls participate in at while at school. Teachers will be taking many pictures this year and will be posting them for your view.

The site is secure and only open to the people WE invite. You can also send the link to your family, such as grandparents and aunts/uncles, so they can stay in touch with your child as well.

In order to participate, please fill out the FundFotos form, being sure to include your email address. In about 2 weeks or so, we will send the website invitation via email to the email addresses provided. You simply visit the link and sign up for the program. In order to sign up, you give a minimum donation of $10 to gain access to the site. You get that exact amount back instantly in the form of credits to purchase prints! As a part of your donation, you also get your personal website to store your personal pictures on as well, such as vacation pics. You can purchase your prints from FundFotos and the school will receive a portion of your sales in comission. The prices are very competitive with WalMart and other online photo printing services such as Shutterfly and Snapfish. DO NOT send any money to the school. Money is given directly to FundFotos through a secure online Paypal site.

Fantastic First Day!

Thank you for your support in making yesterday a fanstastic first day! The students had a great day and things moved along very smoothly. Thank you for your patience with our new car tag procedure. We want to ensure all students make it home with the correct adult and mistakes can easily happen in the car line. We appreciate your cooperation!

August 25 is right around the corner!

Wow! How quick summer does fly! We are working hard for the arrival of our students on August 25! There are a few back to school reminders I'd like for you to remember.

First, remember our school supply packs are now for sale. They are $20 and contain all of the supplies requested by our classroom teachers. We have a limited number of these bags available so call the office to have your bag ready for pickup at open house!

Second, class lists will not be published on the front door of the school as year's past. This year, your child will receive a post card by mail with his or her teacher assignment for the upcoming year. You can expect to receive these no later than the week before school starts.

Third, Open House will be held Monday, Aug. 24. We will hold two sessions for parents. You can choose the session that meets the needs of your family. Session one will be from 4:30 - 5:15. Session two will be from 5:30 - 6:15. Bus drivers, day care, and PTE representatives will be available in the front lobby of the school in order to answer any questions you may have. Also, we will be selling Chic-fil-A meals for $4.50 each in the cafeteria from 5-7pm. All proceeds will support various student programs throughout the year so plan to dine with us on this busy night!
